Y-Rock On XPN Contest Rules
 

Y-ROCK ON XPN GENERAL CONTEST RULES

Y-Rock On XPN often does giveaways of concert tickets or CDs.  You can find the general contest rules which apply below. These general contest rules apply to all Y-Rock On XPN contests unless otherwise noted.

1. How to Enter the Contest

a. When prompted, send an e-mail to the appropriate Y-Rock On XPN host (including trivia answers when called for).

b. Responses must contain the correct answer if a question is asked in order to be valid.

c. WXPN/Y-Rock On XPN is not responsible for e-mails or calls not received due to difficulty accessing phone lines, the internet, service outages, delays or other technological glitches.

2. Dates

Unless specific start and end dates are announced for a particular contest, that contest will  be open for a limited length of time (at the host’s discretion) during that particular day.  WXPN/Y-Rock On XPN may change the dates and/or terms of the contest without prior notice. Any material change will be broadcast by on Y-Rock On XPN and/or posted on the YRockOnXPN.org website.

3. Eligibility Restrictions

Contests are open to all persons ages 13 years or older. Employees of WXPN/Y-Rock On XPN, its contest sponsors, volunteer staff members, and the members of their households are ineligible to participate in the contest or win. One entry per person/household per contest. Once a listener wins a prize, that person/household is ineligible to win another prize for thirty days beginning from the last date they won a prize.

4. The Prize

No prizes awarded in Y-Rock On XPN contests are exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

Prizes will be shipped by Y-Rock On XPN to the name and address provided by the winner or in some cases the winner’s concert tickets will be available for pick-up at the venue on the day of the concert.  Winners will be informed upon winning the contest.  Method of delivery is subject to change.  In the case of a change, winner will be notified by e-mail.

5. Selection of Winner

After the contest is announced, listeners will be prompted to e-mail their entry to the appropriate host’s e-mail address.  From all valid entries received, one entry will be selected at random (or at random from all entries with a correct answer if a question is asked) as the winner.
Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.
6. Conditions

a. Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner.

b. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to have his or her name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation.

c. WXPN/Y-Rock On XPN, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Y-Rock On XPN Web Site(s) or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.

7. Right to Make Changes

WXPN/Y-Rock On XPN reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

8. No Purchase Required

No purchase or donation is necessary.

9. Responsibilities

WXPN/Y-Rock On XPN is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.

10. Copies of the Contest Rules

Copies of the written contest rules will be available online at www.YRockOnXPN.org. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Y-Rock On XPN Weekly Eleven Contest Rules, Attn: Josh T. Landow, 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA, 19104.
